ABOUT THE DJW SCHOOL
The DJW school offers an in-house diploma in acting, for youths aged 7-15 (Level one and Level two) and adults aged 16+ (Level three) , both in-person and online, through weekly classes, consultations and industry workshops, for those who are serious about a career in Theatre, Television and Film.

DJW's small, dedicated team of expert tutors facilitate and guide students throughout the year, and are guided by Company Founder and Director Daniel-John Williams, who has been involved in the television, film and theatre Industry since 1992 and has a wealth of practical acting experience and knowledge.
Daniel and his team are passionate about working with undiscovered talent and have a unique approach to getting the best out of all ages and abilities. By providing a safe and supportive platform, individuals are able to develop both their individual creativity, as well as working as part of an ensemble, to develop their skills as a professional artist.

The DJW School of Acting (DJW Talent) has received QA International recognition at GOLD level in 2015-2020 and is registered for the excellent service award. All of our courses have an entry point in September only and end in July. We are not open in August. (Unless we are running a summer school).

TRAINING
The DJW School of Acting offer WEEKLY ACTING CLASSES for ages 7 to 11, 12 to 15 and 16+ in the studio and for those working remotely from home, to help students engage in, and build up their experience and knowledge of Theatre, Television & Film. The School offers a diverse range of skilled workshops to enhance emerging talent, gearing students up for the industry, acting auditions and guiding those who are looking to apply for drama school entry.

The DJW School of Acting focus on a variety of techniques and skills from improv, stagecraft and audition technique, to creative exploration, confidence building, script work and character development.
​
DJW offer in-house acting diplomas for all ages. You are under no obligation to complete the entire diploma, however you will register to take part in part certification (one year) with the option to complete the full course (four years part-time weekend actor training)
​
For each year that is completed, this will contribute towards your diploma. Each year you will be awarded part certifications and upon completion, you will be awarded the completed diploma certification.
DJW also offer PRIVATE ONLINE TUITION for anyone who is looking for home learning options, but is unable to complete the recommended guided learning hours in the studio to achieve an in-house diploma. (See Band C for those wishing to learn without the diploma). Six hours online | home training over three sessions can be booked in by contacting head office for Band A, Band B and Band C Members, however, will not contribute towards the in-house diploma.

DJW will have a small, dedicated team of expert tutors to facilitate and guide students through the year.
​
​The DJW team work closely with other professionals to keep up to date with industry requirements, training and castings, and work closely with casting directors, producers, directors and other actors in television | film and theatre, in order to increase opportunities for our students.​
​
You should not consider the DJW in-house diploma as a substitute to higher education as we are not connected to a Governing body with accreditation. Rather join DJW in order to further your skills and explore opportunities with us.
DIPLOMA

Online private tuition from anywhere in the world - Block bookings of 6 hours over three online sessions: £270 (These sessions are tailor-made to suit the individual).

1 Hour consultation for professional development, headshots, showreels, industry advice, self tapes and knowledge: £45

STEP TWO
Next, you will need to determine which ANNUAL DJW TUITION FEE option below, applies to you (either ADULT or YOUTH). Payment for your BAND MEMBERSHIP (above) and your first month of ANNUAL TUITION FEES (below) will be taken upon registration.

Please note: BAND C is not subject to ANNUAL TUITION FEES, as it does not include monthly studio time or count towards a diploma.

Annual fees include:

Approximately 16 hours per month of studio time (social distancing restrictions pending), working towards your DJW in-house acting diploma. Tuition runs from September through to the end of July.​

STEP THREE
Next, decide how you would like to pay your annual fees from the below list of PAYMENT OPTIONS:

PAYMENT ONE OPTION: A one off payment to be settled upon registering. (Youths £880 and Adults £1,100).

PAYMENT FOUR OPTION: Four payments to be made throughout the year as follows:
