Racing Pigeon Documentary

Daniel-John Williams has been working closely with Ian Paine on a story which involves racing pigeons.

This documentary flies into the lives of pigeon fanciers who look after their beloved birds all year round, only to take them miles away from home, in the hope they fly back unharmed and to fly back home first.

Redcar and Whitby is where we set our scene and the men, women and youngsters involved ooze passion and dedication when it comes to their birds and it translates beautifully on screen. We go behind the scenes, in the sheds, in the sky and watch liberations unfold in this exciting, action packed documentary shot entirely in The North East of England.
