ABOUT DJW TALENT
ACTOR SERVICES | ACTOR TRAINING | TALENT AGENCY
DJW Talent is an actors service provider for emerging and established talent. We offer support and advice about the ever changing Entertainment Industry - a place where Film, Television and Theatre are at the core of what we love most.
The team at DJW Talent are passionate about the development of actors and guiding those who are serious about a career in the business to give them the essential tools which will prepare them for the reality of the industry. We believe the foundations of an actor is what will give them longevity and our training allows students to explore, experience, emerge and establish themselves whilst building confidence and highlighting their unique self.
We pride ourselves on discovering raw talent and keeping everything as authentic and as real as we can. Working with street casting type approaches and styles, to get the very best results for our clients.
DJW have been involved in many castings and provided talent for Channel 4, (BBC Doctors, BBC Make Me Famous and BBC Almost Never) DJW are responsible for securing roles in award winning short films and have a fantastic working relationship with casting directors, producers, directors and other professionals in theatre, television and film.
DJW Talent offer:
actor training (acting in-house diploma)
facilitating film & television
DJW are working very hard to connect people and push for collaborations whilst identifying everyones skills, range and abilities then putting the right teams in touch with one another. We pride ourselves on working with raw talent and we realise and appreciate that actors should be nurtured and encouraged to expand and grow organically through their own development process.
We believe everyone should be coached by someone who has the knowledge and experience in the industry, so all of our tutors are DBS checked and have had a substantial amount of training or in the field experience. DJW will also use tutors who have been trained at DJW, So they understand the company ethos and style. We want to build our actors up and highlight their strengths and identify areas of possible improvement.
We try and uniform our approach to suit the individuals in attendance, so that they can take with them the spirit and nature of the carefully created modules.
DJW Talent are proud to be part of the Tees Valley Screen, Steering Group under Northern Film + Media and are members of the London Lift-Off Film Festival Network, where one of our students was up for best actor in A Six & Two Threes at Pinewood studios, a production also cast by Daniel-John Williams. DJW in-house diplomas are awarded to all students that complete the course. Youths and adults have the chance to work towards part certifications and a completed diploma certification.
We offer level one and level two for youths and level three for adults.
Each year that is completed, will contribute towards a part or full diploma. You are under no obligation to complete the four years. You should not consider DJW as a substitute to higher education as we are not connected to a governing body with accreditation. Rather join DJW in order to further your skills and explore opportunities with us.
It is possible to join for one year and receive part of the diploma. In order to receive the full certification you must complete the entire course.
We focus on equipping students with a specific knowledge and skillset. The DJW Diploma should help you in your current and future career or hobbyist purposes. DJW workshops include in depth modules created by Daniel-John Williams and have been approved in-house.
