THE DJW SCHOOL OF ACTING are delighted to announce that we have officially offered eleven people an acting scholarship for this year.
The talent we had walk through the doors were overwhelming and we only wish we could offer everyone a scholarship. It is so refreshing to know we have so much talent in the region and we are dedicated and passionate about supporting as many actors as we can throughout their time with us.
DJW are focussed on supporting talent in the region and we have no plans on slowing down. Each year (excluding the two years we do not talk about) DJW offer scholarships to actors who audition for us, which usually takes place in Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough.
Since we launched in 2015, we have supported hundreds of actors through the actor training and DJW Talent Agency and we have awarded 100+ scholarships!
Our aim is to develop our actor training programmes, to industry standards so our actors are ready for professional opportunities in regional, national and international projects in theatre, television and film.
We look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces back to our actor training programme in September.
