Early Life and Career
Born in 1977, Mark's early life was steeped in music. He studied music at college and began playing the piano at the age of seven, a skill he continues to cherish. Professionally, he worked as a personal banker, a role that provided stability but not the creative fulfilment he yearned for.His interest in sewing was sparked in childhood by an old treadle-powered Singer sewing machine owned by his grandparents.
